'Global Automotive Safety Regulations in Nutshell' has become a biennial update as a knowledge harvesting initiative, since last 5 years, by ARAI and Wissen Baum Engineering Solutions. Such initiatives will add more value to engineers and thus create a competitive”
It gives me immense pleasure to write the foreword for the SIAT edition 2017 book on” Global Automotive Safety Regulations.” This is a very important knowledge-harvesting association between Wissen Baum Engineering Solutions and ARAI started back in 2012 and many updates year after year. As many of you are aware this book is a CSR initiative from Wissen Baum Engineering Solution and ARAI. In recent years the development of electrical vehicles, active safety, child safety, pedestrian safety, and better assessment of occupant injuries using ever-evolving instrumented dummies/ FE dummies are main topics in automotive safety.
I am happy to see the updated version of the book on automotive safety regulations. The book captures the requirements across many markets and is a great resource for all stakeholders in the safety field. It will be of immense help to safety engineers in product development- who have a challenging job of developing products addressing requirements across multiple markets. it also can be a great source of knowledge for students and young professionals starting their careers in safety. I would so appreciate the sincere efforts of the wissen baum & SIAT teams for bringing this edition out.”
